Tri-City Rotary Mid-Columbia Duck Race
Each year, Columbia Industries’ participants prepare over 35,000 ducks for the annual Tri-City Rotary Great Mid-Columbia Duck Race.
As a partner in this terrific community event, we label the ducks with waterproof numbers — one at time! Our participants have a lot of fun taking care of our rubber friends until they are ready to be launched down the mighty Columbia River!
Our staff also helps with the logistics of the event…we help set up kiosks at local grocery stores for ticket sales…we move the 20’ duck balloon all over the community for promotional efforts…we transport the ducks to the Columbia River launch point on the day of the race…and we gather up all the ducks after their race down the river, and ship them off to their next location.
